Gap the Mind - Mind the Gap

An exciting exhibition will ‘pop-up’ in The Lanes Shopping Centre, Carlisle, to showcase original works by students studying the University of the Arts London (UAL) Foundation Diploma in Art & Design at Carlisle College of the Arts.
Entitled “Gap the Mind –Mind the Gap” Paul Taylor, Course Lecturer for the UAL Foundation Diploma at Carlisle College, said “With ‘Gap the Mind – Mind the Gap’ we want to show the gap between the shopping space and the creative space and it also symbolises the gap from the first creative idea to the final execution. We are very excited to back in the City Centre to once again showcase great art and the hard work, dedication and overall talent of our students. We hope many people will find a gap during their shopping trip and come and see the exhibition in our pop-up.“
